Somehow just like that, Thanksgiving was here. I took the big kids out of school to join Meghan at her preschool's feast.

Jack's Thanksgiving creation from school. According to Miss Hill, he really liked the Fruit Loops and had a hard time saving any for his turkey.
Later on that afternoon we traveled to Richmond to continue our Thanksgiving celebration with family.
We had an early afternoon Thanksgiving day lunch at Gramby & Su-su's house. Then it was time for some post-meal races.
Thanksgiving evening Clara got a chance to snuggle with Uncle Jack. I like the unscripted identical faces.

Lucy and I were thankful for Pop-pop's delicious cosmos!

On Friday Brec took the children over to Gramby & Su-su's while I hit the pavement with Nay-nay. Meghan enjoyed painting while the big kids were playing Wii Golf.
And they had a fun trip to the park.
On Saturday we continued our Thanksgiving weekend tradition of visiting Santa Claus. Meghan posed with Pop-pop while she was getting ready.
Waiting in line at the Children's Museum.
Kids were very impressed with the Snow Queen and asked her if she knew Elsa.
Looking ahead at Santa!
On to Santa Claus with no one attempting to flee the scene.
All eyes on the main camera, a true festivus miracle!
Sitting on Santa's lap
Quick picture with the bear soldiers before exiting Santaland.
Funny snowman pictures.
After our visit with Santa, everyone swapped their nice duds for some play clothes, b/c the Carson children do play. And are super helpful raking leaves or at least jumping in already raked up leaf piles and distracting those who are actually getting some work accomplished.
Raking leaves and wagon rides.
Auntique not to be outdone by Uncle Jack!
Front yard leaf fun.
On Sunday morning Daddy fit in a trip to Tuckahoe for some play and scooting.
