Our first official day of Christmas vacation, Clara and I were out bright and early to attend her Wave swimming intrasquad meet. Daddy documented the December snowfall with a quick video.
In addition to the new back porch lights, we spiced up the front of the house this year with some colorful icicles to complement our lights along the porch railing.
The new icicles are much more visible from the street.
Jack poses for a quick picture after dinner.
I pulled out my camera to document the sad state of this package that had just been delivered to our door and got a Trick-a-doo smile as a bonus.
After a long, harrying ordeal Meghan's name is on her stocking and right-side up. Who knew it was so much to ask?
Baking time! a Christmas favorite treat - peanut butter blossoms. The kids love to help making these both by opening the Hershey kisses and rolling the peanut butter balls in the sugar.
The beautiful finished product.
Christmas Eve while I was out delivering presents, Brec let the kids go out in the torrential downpour. This was the scene in the kitchen 20 minutes later.
Luckily Santa Claus doesn't seem phased by messy kitchens because he delivered gifts to each of the children:
Jack
Meghan
Clara
