After Thanksgiving passes, it's officially Christmas season in the Carson household!
Dec. 1: Meghan welcomes December with a pensive expression. She inherently feels the clock ticking and is wondering how on earth Mommy is going to get it all done.
Dec. 3: Beautiful December afternoon at the park
Jack and his buddy, Orson (or as Jack says, "Horson").
Dec. 4: Meghan takes an upright nap. Don't worry, I repositioned her after snapping several pictures.
Meghan stealing Daddy's food. When she is released from her high chair, if she's not climbing up the side of Jack's seat pestering him, she's clamoring to be picked up by Brec to snag a few bites off his plate.
Jack brushing his teeth.
Dec. 5: It's that most wonderful time of the year again, Christmas card picture time!
Dec. 7: Denied the beer bottle and none too happy about it.
Pee-pie!
Dec. 8: Getting the tree at the NC Farmer's Market.
Decorating the tree! It's in the house, secured in the stand.
Clara really liked the White House Christmas tree ornaments.
There seem to be a plethora of ornaments near the bottom of the tree.
Yet another great thing about our new corner cabinet... we have a place to put the poinsettia this year!
Finished masterpiece!
Running for the camera.
Making bird nests with the trimmed Christmas tree limbs.
There's something really exciting happening on the patio. More from this failed photo-op were posted previously with other outtakes from this year's Christmas card.
I seem to recall other Decembers when the ground was demanding attention be paid.
Dec. 11: Trip to Pottery Barn Kids offered Christmas gift inspiration.
Everyone is "helping" Mommy cook dinner of waffles and bacon.
Dec. 13: Stinka!
Dec. 16: Someone waited a little too long for lunch to be served.
At the Nutcracker with friend, Rosalind.
Dec. 17: Bathtub full of Santa Clauses
They look so innocent in the tub. Little did we know what was impending that Monday night. Clara woke up early Tuesday morning throwing up and was out of school for the rest of the week. Jack fell victim on Thursday, while Brec, Meghan, and I succumbed on Friday. Poor Brec had a 35th birthday to remember.
Dec. 18: Found her niche.
