We traveled to South Boston to visit Memo & Augs the last weekend in July. Nay-nay and Pop-pop joined in on the fun a night early and the four of them hit the town, dining at the Bistro.
The kids had a wonderful time swimming at the Halifax Country Club pool. It's really great thanks to the large section of 2 feet water. Meghan loves being able to stand and play.
Clara enjoys going off the diving board.
But swim to shore to give us a smile.
Jack tries out a noodle.
Daddy deep in pool-toy explanation.
Having fun getting tossed around by Pop-pop.
Jack was intrigued by watching the waves created by his hands smash against the side of the pool.
Uh-oh, watch out. A water shooting contest with Pop-pop is going to be tough to win.
And who can go to the pool without a trip to the snack bar for Klondikes?
Jack's willing to share.
Sunday morning it was coffee and tunes. Jack sings "It's a Hard Knock Light" and does all the instruments (and holds himself) part 1.
Part 2 of Jack's serenade.
Meghan brings the potty talk to "Let It Go" and Jack approves.
A duet of the ABC's.
