September 19th is apparently "International Talk Like a Pirate Day". If you go into a Krispy Kreme store on this day and talk like a pirate, you get a free donut. If you dress like a pirate, you can get an entire dozen glazed donuts free. So we stormed in there ready to collect our bounty.

We took the kids to a nearby park and let them have at the donuts and then run it off for awhile. Definitely a good plan.
