Tuesday morning we woke up to a phone call from Wake county saying schools were delayed. This came as a complete shock to us. Then an hour later the ground was covered with snow and school was cancelled. It proceeded to snow all day until around 6 pm with the temperature holding steady well under freezing making the snow nice and powdery. Here we are all bundled up playing in the snow.
It was a really pretty snow, coating all the greenery in the yard.
