After the beach we had one full week left of summer before we embarked on the world of school. Nothing too grand, just continued in the way we'd begun, the four of us enjoying the last of the lazy days together.
Just three week after her first steps, Meghan walking at 10 months.
Clara showing off her Olympic torch, laurel wreath, and gold medal that she made in her "Outrageous Olympics" camp she attended at Arts Together the last week in July.
Headed home after "off-roading" on the Greenway.
A morning trip to the mall including a stop for tea at Pottery Barn Kids
Twirling.
My big almost kindergartener conquerer of the monkey bars.
Another greenway shot.
All three in the cart at Target to shop for school supplies. I had visions of this being the perfect picture, you can see the result.
Clara's kite: It's been so long, that I can't quite remember what got her on this, but whatever the inspiration, Clara decided that she wanted to construct a kite. She tried out several different prototypes. The only help she asked of me was to tie various ribbons for her. After many trials with even more errors, she made one that flew the way she was hoping it would.
Later on at the park atop her favorite perch, the tube slide.
Look who joined us, Daddy!
Having a go at crossing the log.
Bring on Mommy & Daddy's anniversary weekend!
