After our trip things at school began to wind down fast. Jack and Meghan finished the week before we went to Boston. On Thursday June 5 the first graders held their end of the year picnic at the neighboring Isabella Canon park. The event was supposed to last for the afternoon but about 30 minutes after arriving, it began to downpour. The other classes decided to go back, but Miss Shaw decided in lieu of having no other plans for the afternoon, why not wait it out? She made the right choice, the others got soaked in the walk back to school and the rain lasted for all of 10 min. Plus they had fun dancing around in in anyway.
