SNOW!

Two winters in a row... its a festivus miracle! Friday evening, through the night, and most of the day Saturday we had a mixture of snow and sleet, enough to leave us in a winter wonderland.

The house!

Wade Ave, a main thoroughfare, on Saturday morning.

Clara was very excited to get out and play in it, so we were out by 0830 on Saturday morning. Jeekers took a nicely timed albeit short early morning nap. She really wanted to build a snowman, but for once it was actually too cold and the snow was too powdery to do so. Tomorrow should be prime conditions, never fear!

Sydney really enjoyed the snow and didn't miss the opportunity to play fetch.

Later that afternoon we headed out on a walk. Jack got to see his first snow.

Clara loved picking up the snow-chunks formed by the sleet. Here she's throwing them for Syd.

Then today it was bright and sunny and seemed perfect for a walk. If only we'd had a one-horse open sleigh. Here's the road leading to the park, as you can see the plows were out all night cleaning up the streets, oh wait...

The stroller held up great in the snow.

Clara with another one of her beloved snow/ice chunks. She carried this one around for awhile.

Walking home on Mitchell.
