Recently we've had some exciting changes around here. The day after my birthday Clara climbed out of the crib like it was the most fun thing in the world. As you can imagine, it was not the most fun thing in the world for me. This began a ten day stretch of no naps which led to some of the toughest times with Clara thus far. However thanks to the sage advice of many, I formed a battle plan to be enacted at home once we returned from Richmond. Saturday a week and a half ago, we set up the "big girl bed", and Monday with the help of the best $40 I ever spent, aka the baby gate, Clara took at nap in her big girl bed. Over the course of this week and last she has made the transition to the big girl bed and with all that extra sleep has returned to her old, angelic (heh) self.
