After our weekend of birthdays, we spent our spring break week in Richmond. One of those days we went to the Richmond zoo.
The peacock was really squawking. Clara was quite adept at copying its sound.
Feeding the giraffes was *very* cool.
Jack and I also fed the camels.
Clara rode the merry-go-round with Pop-pop.
Jack spent a lot of time outside at his (what was then) new water table.
At the end of the week, we had more birthday fun, this time celebrating Jack's entrance into the world of two.
What a cool dude.
Someone (or two) is excited for cake.
Happy Birthday, Jack-eee-booooy!
Now he's blowing out the candles.
Playing with his new remote control car.
Easter Sunday we woke to our favorite bunny.
Hello!
The kids tried out their new sunglasses from the Easter bunny, relaxed in the sun, and spent some time at the water table.
Though we were headed back to Raleigh today after quite a festive spring break, we ended the week with a blast at the Easter parade. Nay-nay squeezed in the back between the kids for the trip downtown.
Clara and Lucy!
Luke and Clara
And now I'm all caught up! It only took me a year. :)
