November

11/7 - We went over to Brec's friend Todd's house for a get-together. The kids enjoyed playing with Todd's kids, and later in the evening, they curled up on the couch to watch a movie.

At least most of them watched the movie.

11/9 - This year was Jack's first in Y-Guides. They had their first fall outing at Camp Kanata in early November. Jack canoes!

It got a little chilly as the day went on.

11/11 - On Veteran's day the kids had the day off from school, and I took them to their first movie in the theater. We went to see the new Peanuts movie which they really enjoyed.

Halloween 2015

On Thursday before Halloween, Meghan got to wear her costume to school. She was super excited to be a pink fairy.

Then Saturday afternoon we worked on Jack's Mt. St. Helen's costume. Here's the finished product.

Next it was time to carve the pumpkins. Sydney stood by me chowing down on pumpkin innards.

While I was busy carving the kids decorated the house.

Time to head out trick-or-treating with Princess Leia, Mt. St. Helen's, and the pink fairy.

We picked up Princess Jasmine along the way.

On our way back home.

Trying to catch Jack's glow-in-the-dark paint on camera.

Check out the sweet pumpkins.
